Prior to the gig there will be a screening of Shellshock Rock at 6pm at the Queens University Film Theatre.
The label was founded by Terri Hooley in April 1978 and was based in his record shop on Great Victoria Street , Belfast .
Good Vibrations was more than just another record shop and label. It enabled young people to believe in the power of self expression and understanding at a time when society in N. Ireland was tearing itself apart.

NEWS:

·  The Cute Lepers debut album "Can't Stand Modern Music" is released in Europe on Damaged Goods. the album is very poppy-punk mix influences from Mod-Pop and New Wave, think the Cars, The Chords, The Jags and The Boys. The Cute Lepers are headling over to Europe for a full tour in May 2008..

·  Out few months ago The Tranzmitors self-titled debut album is licensed in Europe to legendary UK label Stiff Records - CD format only . The album include a 4 track EP featuring tracks only previously released in their Canadian homeland. Formed in 2004, The Tranzmitors take their musical cues from bands like The Buzzcocks or The Undertones.


·  SQUIRE upcoming shows: 24 and 25 May @ Cavern Pub, Liverpool. 31 May @ Adan & Eve, Birmingham. Long Tall Shorty, 17 May @ The Fiddlers Elbow, London.

· 
THE BITE are the best 'new mod/punk' band in Europe since the demise of the MOVEMENT! Their fabulous 5 tracks 7" EP My Reason To Live is available here: Daily Records


· 
The Electric Shadows are currently holed up in the studio laying down 15 original tracks for a debut album.

·  THE ITCH + RT3 @ Fidlers Elbow, Camden Town, London: 26th July.

·  "Soul Vacation" is the title of the new album from Lukas Scherfig (ex The Movement).


·  The STATUES have a new (vinyl only) album out on P.Trash Records, excellent Mod-Punk PowerPop from Canada. Clorox girls brand new 7", three pop tunes with nails. And from Germany, the TOYOTAS "Make Headlines" album mix perfectly garage-punk and english punk '77. A great record!


·  The COCKNEY REJECTS "Live At the Astoria 2" CD/DVD packge released on the 18th February in UK.

· BUZZCOCKS + CHELSEA at O2 Arena, London on 30 November 08.

· Over the next couple of months Epitaph Europe will re-release SOCIAL DISTORTION's and Mike Ness' Time Bomb Recordings catalog in Europe.

· Honest John Plain & Casino Steel's new punk supergroup THE LAST ROCK N ROLL BAND are to make their live UK debut at The Barfly in Camden, London on Saturday 29 March 2008.

· STIFF LITTLE FINGERS' first ever Australian tour! 9 May 2008 @ The Forum, Sydney. 10 May : @ HiFi Bar & Ballroom Melbourne.



· The AUTOMATICS' Christmas album, "The Last Noel" is now available for download from iTunes. The album contains 12 original festive compositions from the pen of Dave Philp. Special guests on the album include the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones.

·  TONIGHT have been filmed for a short BBC Documentary as part of the 'Inside Out' programme, to be aired in April.  The p roducer is Paul Dunt and it will contain the following items: Discussion on the Southend music scene circa '75-'78 & Unreleased '78 album, clips of TOTP, re-union film of Tonight performing 2 songs, and discussing first UK powerpop scene.

·  X RAY SPEX will be playing at the Roundhouse in London on September 6th 2008.

·  THE HOAX ('79-'81, UK) complete recordings available on CD on Bin Liner in December 2007.

·  Monday 15th October sees the UK release of Dig Yourself Deep, the new album from The Undertones, a band who know the value of a great melody in a punk song.

·  Paul FOX guitarist of the RUTS died at home in Uxbridge on 21st October 2007.

· Tonight (70s Power Pop band from UK) are planning a 30th Anniversary CD - spring 08-  of their recordings.


·  Nick Danger & the Danger City Rebels "The Return of Nick Danger EP" .A well bred mix of garage, surf and pop topped with beat lyrics and rich vocals..
